Ameritas is seeking an IT Intern to provide desk-side support for IT endpoint equipment in Cincinnati, OH. The role combines basic IT concepts with strong customer service to deliver reliable end-user experiences and resolutions.

The internship runs November 2026 for 12 months (or longer). Hours are flexible, with near full-time in summer and 15–25 hours per week during the school year; daily in-office presence is required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in customer service with professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Technical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot will be needed in this position.
• Must be actively enrolled in an IT degree program at an accredited institution. Both associate and bachelor level undergraduate students will be considered.

• Follow up on PC equipment to be returned by remote associates.
• Assist with the disposal of retired equipment.

• Respond to service requests in IT Service Management tool.
• This position does involve moving computer equipment including monitors and desktop CPU's. The ability to lift 30 lbs. will regularly be required in this role.

Ameritas is seeking an IT Intern to drive the business by providing desk side support for IT endpoint equipment. This is accomplished through installation, maintenance, and problem diagnosis of PC hardware, third-party and proprietary software, LANs, and servers in a timely and professional manner via telephone and email communication, and hands‑on support, and other tasks as assigned. This position will combine a basic level understanding of IT and network concepts, with a strong orientation towards customer service, to provide end users a great experience and resolution to their issues and requests.

What You Bring

• Able to commit to a 12-month (or longer) internship with hours including:
  • Part time during the school year (15-25 hours)
  • Full time during the summer (30-40 hours)
