Job summary

ICCU is seeking an Information Technology Intern to support the DNA Applications Team while you continue your IT studies. You will assist on IT projects, gain hands-on experience, and learn troubleshooting, testing, and communication of findings.

You will also audit systems, document results, and participate in weekly IT meetings. This role requires 15–25 hours per week, while maintaining confidentiality of member records and ICCU information.

Qualifications

  • Begun working toward an IT degree at an accredited college or university.
  • Excellent data processing and computer skills.
  • The ability to dedicate 15-25 hours per week to this intern program.
  • The ability to always maintain the confidentiality of the Credit Union and member records.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with various IT projects and tasks to gain understanding of how technology is implemented and used within the organization.
  • Gaining hands‑on practical experience of IT department responsibilities, providing tier three technical support to deliver appropriate issue resolution.
  • Learning and developing the essential IT skills around troubleshooting, testing system updates, fixing bugs, and communicating your findings with others.
  • Auditing various systems and user configurations as assigned. Documenting and communicating audit results with manager and working with a team to correct any findings.
  • Performing special projects as determined by IT Management.
  • Participating in weekly meetings with the IT team to discuss projects and issues to be resolved.
