Job summary

Burns & McDonnell is seeking an IT/Cybersecurity internship in Kansas City. You will collaborate with our departments, Global Practice or Regional Office to support business strategy by handling tasks like data entry, documentation and PowerPoint prep.

Qualifications

Pursuit of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity or CS from an accredited program.
Prior internship or related consulting experience preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Basic knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Demonstrated leadership skills.
Self-motivated and eager learner, aptitude to grow and develop within the field.

Responsibilities

Assist with filing, scanning, data entry, documentation and Power Point presentation.
Assist with responses to general questions.
Participate in continuous improvement efforts by collecting and analyzing data.
Present solutions to concerns.
Research solutions to project concerns; analyze and recommend solutions to problems.
Assist with ad hoc projects as assigned by managers.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Complies with all policies and standards.
