Job summary

Dot Foods invites technically minded interns to join the Information Technology - B2B Integrations team in Mount Sterling, IL. You will shadow, lead small projects, and contribute to EDI, OCR, and flat-file initiatives while gaining real-world experience in a family-owned supply-chain environment.

We seek a full-time student pursuing a Bachelor's degree with a 3.0+ GPA, proficient in Microsoft Office, and capable of balancing multiple priorities.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a full-time student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree at an accredited college/university.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
• Creative & innovative thinking.

Responsibilities

• Job-shadow within the B2B Integrations team to deliver solutions and improve functionality.
• Lead and own assigned project(s) within B2B Integrations
• Participate in a team project with other interns
• Participate in activities related to increasing efficiencies for Dot and its trading partners through electronic communications (EDI, OCR and flat-files)
• Problem-solve through research, collecting data, and analyzing to determine best processes and methods
• Review, update, and track a variety of reports
• Present project information at internship culmination with findings and recommendations
• Apply lean thinking to identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position
