Job summary

Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Inc., USA seeks an IT Associate to provide day-to-day operational support for existing infrastructure and desktop systems. Responsibilities include backup/restoration, tape handling, inventory management, and maintaining service ticket records.

You will monitor LAN/WAN, VPNs, and servers, administer Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, and oversee security controls. Collaboration with teams and vendors ensures incident resolution and compliant IT operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field (minimum four years of study).
• 3+ years of IT HelpDesk experience.
• CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Network+ are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day operational support for infrastructure services and desktops.
• Handle backup/restore processes, tape handling, and ticket records.
• Administer LAN/WAN, Wi‑Fi, VPN, routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and user authentication.
• Install, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux servers.
• Monitor server performance, storage, and availability; perform maintenance.
• Apply OS updates, patches, and security software on endpoints and servers.
• Respond to help desk tickets within SLAs and coordinate with vendors.
