Job summary

Maryland State Treasurer’s Office is seeking an IT Network & Infrastructure Support Administrator to secure and maintain STO IT systems, including Windows and Linux servers, desktops, and Azure resources. The role covers a broad spectrum of duties from troubleshooting printers to building servers, with Tier II-III help desk support.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
• Experience: Four years of administrative staff or professional work.
• One of the required years of experience must include IT network security-related functions (e.g., managing firewalls or VPNs, securing and patching public facing servers, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Maintain security of STO IT systems including Windows and Linux servers, web servers, desktops, laptops, mobile devices, firewalls, network devices and printers.
• Manage Azure-based resources to support daily operations and development work.
• Provide Tier II-III Help Desk support for all staff.
• Install and troubleshoot software and resolve users' application questions.
• Administer a broad range of IT systems from desktops to servers and printers.
