Job summary

Yusen Terminals LLC in Los Angeles, CA, seeks an experienced Manager, IT to lead planning, deployment, and ongoing management of the infrastructure stack. You will oversee vendor relationships, drive uptime, and ensure security and compliance across IT and OT environments in a fast-paced marine terminal setting.

Responsibilities include designing capacity plans, implementing changes with minimal downtime, supervising engineers and third parties, controlling expenses, and delivering regular

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years in IT project or infrastructure management roles.
• 5+ years’ experience in Windows and Linux system administration.
• Knowledge of data privacy practices and laws.
• IT experience in maritime operations or logistics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and enforce safety procedures.
• Develop and manage IT/OT infrastructure systems.
• Design capacity plans for current and future needs.
• Implement change management to minimize downtime.
• Lead troubleshooting across interconnected systems.
• Document system logic and provide technical analysis.
• Guide engineers and third-party contractors.
• Control expenses within the infrastructure area.
• Ensure maximum uptime of terminal operations.
• Provide progress reports on initiatives to management.

• Perform other duties as required.
