Beaufort County is seeking an IT Manager to oversee IT service delivery, security standards, and policy enforcement. You will manage budgets, vendors, and projects while leading IT staff, including hiring, performance management, scheduling, and discipline to support secure operations.

The role requires an Associate’s degree or equivalent and 4+ years of IT management experience, plus CompTIA A+. A valid SC driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent (two years of college education).
• 4+ years of related IT management experience, up to 8 years.
• CompTIA A+ certification required.
• Valid state driver’s license with acceptable driving history.

Responsibilities

• Oversee IT service delivery and monitor systems and support processes.
• Manage IT budgets, vendors, contracts, and projects for cost efficiency.
• Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and security standards.
• Align IT strategy with organizational goals and priorities.
• Supervise IT staff including hiring, performance, scheduling, and discipline.
• Serve as primary escalation point for complex IT issues.
• Communicate with leadership and cross-functional teams on technology needs.
