Job summary

GardenCore is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Manager to lead the design, deployment and ongoing maintenance of our network, server and storage landscape. The role requires coordinating across IT teams and business units to ensure high availability and security while supporting 58 sites nationwide with up to 25% travel.

Based onsite in Peachtree Corners, GA, you will direct a team of Leads and Analysts, drive service levels, manage budgets, and implement best practices to sustain

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technology field.
• Requires ten years of relevant computer systems experience, including at least three years in a management position.
• Strong management and project management capabilities.
• Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN architectures, server technologies, storage systems, wireless technologies, and PC technologies.
• Vendor/contract and license management experience.
• Advanced computer skills utilizing MS Office and project management tools.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to travel ~25% to 58 GardenCore locations nationally.

Responsibilities

• Assesses infrastructure needs and reports to management with recommendations.
• Oversees Network, Server, Storage services and overall system architecture.
• Develops work plans and allocates resources for design, build, and deployment of infrastructure.
• Ensures infrastructure needs are implemented and supported across the organization.
• Sets goals for network and server availability and performance.
• Collaborates with Client Services and IT Security to maintain service levels and DR planning.
• Identifies best practices to improve performance and reliability.
• Manages budget development and staffing within the Infrastructure team.
