Job summary

The Oregon State Police in Salem, Oregon is seeking an Information Technology Manager 2 to provide strategic leadership for the Infrastructure Section of the IT Division. This in-office role requires directing infrastructure services and aligning with agency priorities for 24/7 public safety operations.

You will define core enterprise technology services, standards, and service expectations while coordinating with state partners and the CIO Council to support statewide governance.

Qualifications

• Six years of supervision, management, or progressively related experience or three years with a related bachelor’s degree.
• Experience managing enterprise infrastructure (networks, servers, storage, cloud/hybrid) 24/7 operations.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and CJIS Security Policy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for the IT Infrastructure Section.
• Direct and manage infrastructure services, ensuring reliable, secure enterprise delivery.
• Define core enterprise technology services and set standards across IT divisions.
• Coordinate with CIO Council and partners to support statewide policy and coordination.
