Job summary

Roche in Indianapolis is seeking an IT Infrastructure Lead for Mergers & Acquisitions to steer the integration of acquired companies into Roche's global IT framework, covering networking, data centers, and security. You will lead site readiness, migrations, and build-outs, manage vendors and field teams, and collaborate with IT, security, and business units to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Informatics, or a related field is required or equivalent work experience.
8+ years of hands-on IT infrastructure experience, preferably in regulated life sciences or pharma environments (GxP knowledge preferred).
Experience managing physical IT integrations, data center migrations, and office build-outs.
Deep knowledge of enterprise networking (LAN/WAN, Wi‑Fi, firewalls) and system architecture (VMware, Nutanix, Windows/Linux).
Proven vendor management skills and ability to coordinate cross-functional teams during complex migrations.

Responsibilities

Lead infrastructure due diligence during M&A assessments and align infrastructure strategy with timelines and compliance.
Oversee site readiness and integration of networking, cloud systems, security, and data center consolidation.
Plan and execute system migrations, hardware relocations, and upgrades with minimal downtime.
Design and implement network integration strategies, including IP schema alignment and firewall rule harmonization.
Partner with information security to implement unified security policies across merged environments.
Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with IT, security, and business units to communicate progress and risks.
Develop end-to-end decommissioning plans and maintain architecture documentation.
