Knight Federal Solutions, Inc. is seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer in the Washington, DC area to ensure robust, secure, and highly available IT systems.

You will assess bottlenecks, design and implement infrastructure, support networking, storage, security, and data center operations, and collaborate with vendors to resolve issues while maintaining security compliance including TS/SCI clearance with CI poly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 9+ years of IT infrastructure engineering experience.
• Experience assessing bottlenecks and optimizing performance.
• Experience planning, designing, and supporting networking, storage, security, and data center operations.
• Experience guiding configuration and maintenance for high availability.
• Experience working with vendors to resolve infrastructure issues.
• TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph ability.

Responsibilities

• Assess infrastructure bottlenecks and propose fixes to improve performance.
• Plan, design, and implement IT systems to meet evolving needs.
• Support networking, storage, security, and data center operations.
• Guide configuration and maintenance to ensure high availability.
• Collaborate with vendors to resolve infrastructure issues and procure resources.
• Maintain security compliance, including TS SCI with CI Poly.
• Work with internal teams to minimize downtime and outages.
