Job summary

Knight Federal Solutions, Inc. is seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer in the Washington, DC area to ensure robust, secure, and highly available IT systems.

You will assess bottlenecks, design and implement infrastructure, support networking, storage, security, and data center operations, and collaborate with vendors to resolve issues while maintaining security compliance including TS/SCI clearance with CI poly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 9+ years of IT infrastructure engineering experience.
• Experience assessing bottlenecks and optimizing performance.
• Experience planning, designing, and supporting networking, storage, security, and data center operations.
• Experience guiding configuration and maintenance for high availability.
• Experience working with vendors to resolve infrastructure issues.
• TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph ability.

Required Experience: - Minimum of 9 years of experience in IT infrastructure engineering or a related field. - Proven experience in assessing and resolving infrastructure bottlenecks. - Demonstrated expertise in planning, designing, and supporting networking, storage, security, and data center operations. - Experience in guiding configuration and maintenance to ensure high availability. - Experience working with vendors to resolve infrastructure issues.
