Job summary

Kairos Power in Alameda, CA seeks an IT Infrastructure Engineer II to support end-user computing and core infrastructure services. You will work with a team to implement, operate, and maintain hybrid cloud and on‑prem infrastructure, with emphasis on automation, security, and reliability across offices, labs, manufacturing spaces, and datacenters.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in infrastructure engineering, hands-on cloud IaaS experience (AWS/Azure/GCP), and proficiency with IaC tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or equivalent in CS/IT required.
4+ years in network/systems/infrastructure engineering.
Experience with datacenter operations and cloud IaaS.
Proficient with IaC tools Terraform/Ansible/Puppet/Chef.
Regulated industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain cloud and on-prem infrastructure resources; use IaC where practical.
Contribute to design, standardization, and management of hybrid infrastructure.
Monitor and troubleshoot network, systems, and application issues; improve performance and reliability.
Build secure, automated solutions to scale infrastructure.
Administer server, endpoint, identity, and cloud infrastructure technologies.
Collaborate with security, engineering, manufacturing, facilities, and business teams to define requirements.
