Job summary

TalentoHC is partnering with a leading travel and tourism organization to recruit a System Administrator, IT Services for on-site work in Los Angeles, CA. The role emphasizes hands-on infrastructure across VMware, Citrix Cloud, and end-user computing, with a focus on reliability and documentation.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of system administration experience, expertise in VMware vSphere and Citrix Cloud, and strong Microsoft 365/Entra ID skills.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in IT or related field.
• 3–5 years of system administration/infrastructure support beyond Tier 1.
• Hands-on VMware vSphere (ESXi/vCenter) administration in production.
• Hands-on Citrix Cloud / Virtual Apps and Desktops experience.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and Active Directory/Entra ID including hybrid identity.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and AWS for server, identity, networking, and storage administration.
• Experience with 8x8 or comparable cloud telephony/UCaaS.
• Knowledge of Cisco networking (switching, routing, wireless, VPN).
• Experience with Microsoft Intune or other MDM/UEM.
• PowerShell scripting proficiency.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain on-prem VMware vSphere environment including provisioning and patching.
• Manage Citrix Cloud desktops, delivery groups, and session troubleshooting.
• Maintain Windows Server and Linux servers in on-premises and cloud (Azure/AWS).
• Handle backups, restore tests, and disaster recovery checks.
• Administer Microsoft 365 services and hybrid identity.
• Provide Tier 2/3 end-user support and onboarding/offboarding.
• Troubleshoot telecom and conferencing technologies (Teams Rooms).
• Coordinate with vendors/MSPs for procurement and support.
