Key Responsibilities
Cloud Administration
  • Serve as a primary administrator for Microsoft Azure and AWS environments, including provisioning and lifecycle management of VMs, storage, and platform services

  • Monitor network health, performance, and availability; investigate and resolve connectivity, latency, and throughput issues
  • Maintain network documentation including topology diagrams, IPAM, VLAN and firewall rule inventories
Security Administration
  • Apply security practices across cloud, network, server, and endpoint layers — hardening configurations and maintaining secure baselines
  • Administer MFA, Conditional Access, and identity‑protection policies in Microsoft Entra ID; support access certifications and reviews
  • Operate and maintain endpoint and server protection (EDR/AV), disk encryption, and patch/vulnerability remediation
  • Monitor security alerts and logs across Microsoft Defender and cloud‑native tooling; investigate, document, and escalated suspected incidents
  • Assist with vulnerability scanning, remediation tracking, security audits, and evidence gathering

  • Administer on‑premises VMware vSphere environment including VM provisioning, storage management, and host patching
  • Administer Citrix Cloud environment including virtual desktops, delivery groups, machine catalogs, and image updates
  • Administer Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive) and Active Directory/Entra ID
  • Manage Windows and macOS endpoints via Microsoft Intune — enrollment, compliance policies, software deployment, and remote remediation
  • Provide Tier 2/Tier 3 support via ITSM ticketing system; own IT onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Maintain IT asset and licensing records; coordinate with vendors and MSPs for procurement and support
  • Document procedures, runbooks, and knowledge‑base articles; participate in an after‑hours on‑call rotation for critical incidents
Leadership & Team Collaboration
  • Run the day‑to‑day IT function — managing workflow, priorities, and task distribution across the team
  • Drive collaboration across IT and cross‑functional teams, ensuring alignment and clear communication
  • Provide leadership and direction to team members, contractors, and help desk staff
  • Prior experience managing direct reports is strongly preferred
