Job summary

AmaWaterways is seeking a System Administrator, IT Services to maintain and enhance our core infrastructure at the Calabasas HQ and globally. You will manage VMware vSphere, Citrix Cloud, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Azure and AWS workloads, 8x8 telephony, and Cisco‑based networking to keep end users productive.

The role blends hands‑on technical work with strong customer service, ticketing, and documentation, partnering with IT and Security to stay patched and secure.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional experience in system administration or infrastructure support
• Hands‑on experience administering VMware vSphere in production
• Hands‑on experience administering Citrix Cloud / DaaS
• Hands‑on experience administering Microsoft 365 and Active Directory / Entra ID
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure and AWS
• Hands‑on experience with 8x8 telephony / UCaaS
• Strong customer‑service orientation and documentation skills
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and incident management

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 2/3 end‑user and infrastructure support across Calabasas HQ and global offices
• Administer VMware vSphere (ESXi/vCenter) and perform VM lifecycle tasks
• Administer Citrix Cloud / DaaS and manage sessions and delivery groups
• Administer Microsoft 365 services and Entra ID; manage licenses and groups
• Provide Windows Server and Linux server administration, backups and patching
• Support 8x8 telephony and UCaaS provisioning and call routing
• Manage Cisco networking including VLAN, routing, and VPN
• Manage endpoints with Microsoft Intune / MDM; enforce device policies
• Perform patching and vulnerability remediation across environment
• Coordinate with vendors/ MSPs for enterprise changes
• Maintain documentation and runbooks; participate in IT projects
• Contribute to on‑call rotation as needed
