Summit Staffing Partners seeks an IT Infrastructure System Administrator to join a venture capital and investment firm’s in-house tech team in Norwalk, CT. You will act as a generalist across systems, networking, cloud, security, endpoints, and user support.

Responsibilities span managing Windows environments, administering MS 365/Intune, and collaborating with vendors while improving security and infrastructure through migrations and new tech adoption.

Competenze

• 2–5+ years in systems administration or infrastructure support.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Intune, Windows environments, servers, networking, firewalls, cloud platforms, and IT security.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in a structured, thoughtful way.
• Broad interest in infrastructure tech with ability to work across systems.
• Comfortable in a smaller collaborative IT environment with cross‑disciplinary duties.
• Strong communication skills and professional end-user support.
• Organized, dependable and able to manage both immediate requests and longer projects.
• Curious and adaptable with a desire to learn new technologies.

Mansioni

• Manage and support day-to-day technology operations across Windows systems, endpoints, servers, networking, cloud services, and security tools.
• Administer Microsoft 365 and Intune while assisting with device management, user access, configurations, and related support needs.
• Provide hands-on technical support to employees, resolving issues involving hardware, software, connectivity, and end-user systems.
• Monitor and maintain Windows desktop and server environments, addressing performance and access issues.
• Support network infrastructure, including firewalls, connectivity, and related technologies.
• Assist with cloud environment evolution and adoption of additional cloud-based technologies.
• Contribute to infrastructure upgrades, migrations, implementations, and IT improvement initiatives.
• Partner with outside vendors and MSPs to resolve issues and support projects.
• Help strengthen security posture by supporting tools, controls, and initiatives.
• Investigate root causes and drive issue resolution with a practical, solutions-oriented approach.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and refine IT processes and standards.
• Support a broad range of systems administration needs while gradually taking on more responsibilities.
