Job summary

Syensqo is seeking an IT Digitalization Support Lead to guide production and research IT environments and act as the technical lead for specialized support initiatives. You will ensure reliability of critical systems and partner with global teams across diverse geographies.

The role requires five or more years in industrial IT support, strong leadership, stakeholder-management and ITIL experience, with a focus on security and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
• At least five years of IT support experience in an industrial environment with strong technical knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems and support tools.
• Experience with IT service-management frameworks such as ITIL and service-management platforms; proven success leading globally distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert IT support for production and research environments, ensuring availability, reliability and performance of critical plant systems.
• Act as the SPOC for technical aspects of operational performance platforms and applications.
• Lead delivery of specialized IT support services in line with SLAs and KPIs.
• Drive improvements and coordinate with IT regional leads and service providers for end-to-end support.
• Collaborate with site stakeholders to translate needs into IT-support solutions and communicate progress, risks and deliverables.
• Lead Incident and Problem Management to minimize disruption and manage break-fix tasks within scope and budget.
• Align global digital strategy with site-level operational needs and champion security standards such as NIST and CMMC.

We are looking for: IT Digitalization Support Lead

• We are seeking a skilled IT Specialized Support Lead to provide expert IT support for production and research environments.
• Reporting to the IT Regional Cluster Lead, you will lead the delivery of specialized support services, help ensure the reliable operation of critical systems, and resolve complex challenges in demanding operational settings.
• The successful candidate combines deep technical expertise, with strong leadership, service-management, and problem-solving capabilities. You will be comfortable working across complex IT infrastructures and partnering with both technical teams and business stakeholders in a multicultural, geographically dispersed organization.

We count on you for:

• Provide expert IT support for production and research environments helping to maintain the availability, reliability, and performance of critical plant systems. Serve as the technical lead for specialized support initiatives, leveraging deep knowledge of production and research IT infrastructures.
• Serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for technical aspects of operational performance platforms and applications
• Lead the delivery of specialized IT support services, in line with agreed service-level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Identify, get the priorization from the site/GBU, and implement service improvements that enhance support quality, efficiency, and user experience. Partner with the IT Regional Sub-cluster Lead, IT support teams, and service providers to deliver coordinated, end-to-end support.
• Collaborate with production and research Site stakeholders to understand any new needs and translate them into effective IT-support solutions. Communicate progress, risks, and deliverables to the site managementof future projects and upgrades.
• Lead Incident and Problem Management activities for complex issues, minimizing disruption to production and research operations and ensuring timely, transparent communication. Coordinating the delivery of IT projects, system enhancements, business-as-usual activities, and break-fix tasks ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope and within budget. Key responsibilities include managing team members, liaising with IT stakeholders, supervising execution, and ensuring adherence to established quality standards.
• Drive alignment between global digital strategy and site-level operational needs
• Champion for NIST and CMMC security standards

You will bring:

• Experience with IT service-management frameworks, such as ITIL, and service management platforms. Demonstrated success leading teams in multicultural and geographically dispersed environments. Excellent communication, negotiation, stakeholder-management, and interpersonal skills.

You will get:

• The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected for this position is $88,480to $110,600per year.
• Since actual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range.
• Total compensation for this role also includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
• 16 or more weeks of maternity/paternity and co-parenting leave, according to local regulations.
