Job summary

Syensqo is seeking an IT Digitalization Support Lead to provide expert IT support for production and research environments. Reporting to the IT Regional Cluster Lead, you will guide specialized support services, ensure reliability of critical plant systems, and resolve complex operational challenges.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in IT or related field, at least five years in industrial IT support, and strong leadership, ITIL experience, and stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.
• At least five years of IT support experience in an industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, and support tools.
• Experience with IT service-management frameworks, such as ITIL.
• Proven success leading teams in multicultural and geographically dispersed environments.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, stakeholder-management, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert IT support for production and research environments.
• Serve as the SPOC for technical aspects of operational performance platforms and applications.
• Lead the delivery of specialized IT support services in line with SLAs and KPIs.
• Identify, prioritize site needs and implement service improvements to enhance support quality.
• Collaborate with IT regional leads, support teams, and service providers for end-to-end support.
• Lead Incident and Problem Management to minimize disruption and ensure timely communication.
• Coordinate delivery of IT projects, system enhancements, BAU activities, and break-fix tasks within scope and budget.

You will be comfortable working across complex IT infrastructures and partnering with both technical teams and business stakeholders in a multicultural, geographically dispersed organization.**We count on you for:*** Provide expert IT support for production and research environments helping to maintain the availability, reliability, and performance of critical plant systems. Serve as the technical lead for specialized support initiatives, leveraging deep knowledge of production and research IT infrastructures.* Serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for technical aspects of operational performance platforms and applications* Lead the delivery of specialized IT support services, in line with agreed service-level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).* Identify, get the priorization from the site/GBU, and implement service improvements that enhance support quality, efficiency, and user experience. Partner with the IT Regional Sub-cluster Lead, IT support teams, and service providers to deliver coordinated, end-to-end support.* Collaborate with production and research Site stakeholders to understand any new needs and translate them into effective IT-support solutions. Communicate progress, risks, and deliverables to the site management of future projects and upgrades.* Lead Incident and Problem Management activities for complex issues, minimizing disruption to production and research operations and ensuring timely, transparent communication. Coordinating the delivery of IT projects, system enhancements, business-as-usual activities, and break-fix tasks ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.
