  • Always approach your job with the principle that all incidents are preventable. To that end you need to keep the following aspects in mind:

  • Risk assessment is a mind set, where you are always assessing hazards and thinking about means to avoid those hazards. Take a proactive approach to maintain excellence in all your assignments.
  • Be aware of your state of mind (rushing, frustration, fatigue & complacency) that leads to distractions from the task on hand. Those distractions lead to errors resulting in unwanted incidents.
  • Use all the available tools for your benefits: HS&E training, SafeTrack Observations, Risk Assessment, Incident Reporting, checklists, and Manufacturing Excellence tools.
  • Job completion means Good Housekeeping, filling necessary reports, and watching for your safety and those around you.
