Job summary

Germain Automotive Partnership in Columbus, OH is seeking a Team Lead for IT Break/Fix Support. You will own the escalation queue, coach technicians, and drive process improvements across Ohio, Michigan, and Florida.

The role is hands-on with onsite and remote support, shadowing the IT Director during onboarding and traveling to supported sites as needed. Leadership and strong Windows/MS365 skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Proof of team leadership in a multi-site or operational setting.
• Strong IT helpdesk or desktop support background with issue resolution
• Experience with Windows 11 troubleshooting and MS 365 suite
• Vendor management and coordinating across locations
• Ability to travel regionally for onsite support
• Excellent communication and analytical skills

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary escalation point for break/fix issues for Tier 1/2.
• Coach and mentor team to resolve issues faster across locations.
• Coordinate ticketing and coverage for Ohio, Michigan, Florida.
• Monitor queues and intervene on aging/high-impact tickets.
• Manage vendor relationships and onsite/vendor visits.
