Lanco is seeking a Help Desk I to provide end-user support in Homewood, IL. The role involves handling service tickets, deploying Windows workstations, managing accounts, and following established IT policies.

You will communicate with multiple departments, document processes, and assist in maintaining security and safety standards. This position offers paid time off and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma and related experience.
• Must have great communication skills; will be working with and talking with other departments and management directly/regularly.
• Strong troubleshooting skills. Attention to detail. Initiative. Accountability.
• CompTia Certification, Service Desk Ticketing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Service Ticket Management – Receive, Update, Escalate or Resolve in accordance with documented policies.
• Create process documentation outlining standard delivery methods for recurring issues.
• Configure and deploy Windows-based workstations using standardized deployment tools.
• Asset management – Inventory, sanitation, disposal.
• User account management – account creations and group memberships.
• Provide remote or in-person support for hardware and software related issues.
• Train staff on equipment and software use and best practices.
