Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a permanent onsite IT support specialist in Montgomery, AL, to assist plant staff with hardware, software, and network issues. You will troubleshoot Windows, AD, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and production tech systems while delivering high-quality customer service.

Qualified candidates hold an associate degree in IT or CS and relevant certifications; Linux and Raspberry Pi experience plus monitoring tools like PRTG or SolarWinds NPM are a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications are a plus.
• Experience with Linux and Raspberry Pi; knowledge of network monitoring tools such as PRTG or SolarWinds NPM.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support to plant staff and troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and production technology issues.
• Deliver excellent customer service while diagnosing and resolving technical problems.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $70000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

401k and full benefits package. Plus an annual 5% performance bonus.
