Job summary

MFS is seeking an Information Services Support Specialist to deliver first-line IT support across hardware, software, and enterprise apps in a non-remote, office-based setting. You will handle onboarding, access management, EHR support, and routine maintenance while safeguarding PHI and HIPAA-related data.

The role emphasizes customer service, ticket-based workflows, and cross-location coverage with a 35-hour work week and full benefits. Some travel between MFS sites is required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in information technology or related field.
• Minimum one year of related IT/help desk experience.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, basic networking and devices.
• Demonstrated troubleshooting and strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to organize and prioritize multiple requests and work independently or collaboratively.
• Valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for the Information Services Help Desk.
• Receive, document, prioritize, assign, resolve, and close help desk requests.
• Provide support via phone, email, in person, and ticketing system.
• Create and manage user accounts in Microsoft 365 and Entra ID.
• Provide first-line support for Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and related apps.
• Configure and maintain hardware and software per standards; coordinate repairs when needed.
• Support EHR and enterprise applications; assist with upgrades and testing.
• Assist with onboarding/offboarding and training of staff on technology.
• Maintain accurate equipment inventory and security practices for PHI.
