Job summary

Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde in Grand Ronde, OR is seeking a Tech Support Assistant to serve as the point of contact for tribal employees needing computer peripheral support. Primary duties include inventory audits, data entry, documentation, and maintenance of printers, copiers, and other peripherals.

Additional responsibilities include supporting computer systems, installing and configuring devices, keeping service records, and assisting during Tribal events.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Previous data entry and computer/peripheral maintenance experience preferred.
• OR equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Responsibilities

• Installs, configures, and/or repairs peripheral devices including printers, faxes, copiers, etc.
• Maintains service records and documentation of repairs, parts and unit locations.
• Monitors toner/cartridge inventory for printers and copiers.
• Collects and maintains trending data for copiers and printers (page counts, costs).
• Delivers and installs toner/ink cartridge replacements as needed.
• Installs and maintains other computer peripherals (cameras, scanners, monitors).
• Assists in relocation of computer equipment for space changes and staff movements.
