Job summary

Langan is seeking a Help Desk Intern or Co-op to join its IT team in Parsippany, NJ. This individual will serve a key function in troubleshooting technical issues and repairing and maintaining all types of computer and peripheral hardware.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects and work in a team environment while gaining practical experience. Ideal candidates are IT or CS students, able to work at least 25 hours weekly, with strong communication and customer

Qualifications

• Working toward a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
• Ability to commit to at least 25 hours per week during fall semester.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.
• Excellent communication, written and verbal.
• Detail-oriented with strong customer service skills.
• Able to work independently and in a team environment.
• May travel to satellite offices for on-site support.
• Programming and/or networking experience is a plus.
• Data entry, inventory and video editing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and repair PCs and peripherals.
• Perform software installations.
• Minor printer repair and support.
• Provide telephone, email, and live chat technical support.
• Perform other duties as requested.
