Job summary

Langan Corporation is seeking a Help Desk Intern or Co-op to join its Information Technology team in Parsippany, NJ. You will troubleshoot technical issues and repair and maintain computer hardware, gaining hands-on experience in a collaborative environment.

The role offers practical project work and exposure to a range of IT tasks, with a preference for juniors/seniors or MS degree pursuing students.

Qualifications

• Student actively pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
• Ability to work at least 25 hours/week during the fall semester.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to potentially travel to satellite offices to provide on-site support.
• Programming and/or networking experience a plus; data entry, inventory and video editing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and repair PCs and peripherals;
• Perform software installations;
• Minor printer repair and support;
• Occasionally provide telephone, e-mail, and live chat technical support;
• Perform other duties as requested.
