Overview – IT Help Desk Administrator
The IT Help Desk Administrator will provide end-user support across multiple locations. This role will support desktop and mobile technologies, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, assist with onboarding/offboarding, manage IT assets, and deliver exceptional customer service, including executive-level support.
Key Responsibilities – IT Help Desk Administrator
- Provide Tier 1/2 technical support for Windows PCs, Microsoft 365, business applications, and mobile devices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, operating system, networking, and application issues for local and remote users.
- Deliver white-glove support to executives and senior leadership.
- Provision, deploy, configure, and replace laptops, desktops, and related equipment.
- Support Apple iPhones and iPads.
- Assist with employee onboarding/offboarding, device setup, and account management.
- Support conference room and video conferencing technologies.
- Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation within the ticketing system.
- Escalate complex issues as needed and contribute to IT projects and process improvements.
- Hands-on experience supporting:
- Microsoft Windows environments
- Microsoft 365
- iOS/iPadOS devices
- Active Directory
- Remote support tools
- Endpoint management solutions
- Experience with PC imaging, software deployments, hardware troubleshooting, and workstation setup.
- Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to support both technical and non-technical users.
- Industry certifications such as Network+, Security+, Microsoft 365 Endpoint Administrator, or ITIL, are a plus
Required Qualifications – IT Help Desk Administrator
- 3+ years of Help Desk, Desktop Support, or End User Support experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, preferred.
- Hands-on experience supporting:
- Microsoft Windows environments
- Microsoft 365
- iOS/iPadOS devices
- Active Directory
- Remote support tools
- Endpoint management solutions
- Experience with PC imaging, software deployments, hardware troubleshooting, and workstation setup.
- Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to support both technical and non-technical users.
