Job summary

The role focuses on procurement, configuration, deployment, and lifecycle management of desktops, servers, and peripherals across multiple facilities, including classified environments.

Based in the Washington, DC area, the IT Hardware Engineer will coordinate with security officers and site teams, handle RMF/NIST compliance, and support cross-domain and SAP environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years IT hardware engineering, deployment, or field support.
• Experience supporting classified or federal systems environments.
• Experience with SAP facilities/environments.

Responsibilities

• Procure, configure, image, and deploy desktops, laptops, servers, and peripherals.
• Perform hardware installation, upgrades, break/fix, and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain hardware inventory, asset tags, and lifecycle documentation.
• Support rack/stack, cabling, and hardware in data centers, SCIF, and SAP facilities.
