Job summary

GTSC Bowen Group is seeking an IT Hardware Engineer to support procurement, configuration, deployment, and lifecycle management of desktop, laptop, server, and peripheral hardware across program locations. The role requires current Top Secret clearance with SCI-eligibility and SAP eligibility, plus 25–50% travel.

The engineer will ensure hardware readiness, reliability, and compliance in classified and SAP environments, working with facility security officers and cross-domain solutions teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years IT hardware engineering, deployment, or field support
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Experience supporting classified or federal systems environments
• Experience with SAP facilities or environments
• Hands-on imaging, hardware break/fix, and asset lifecycle management
• Ability to lift/move IT equipment and perform physical installation tasks
• Familiarity with RMF and NIST SP 800-37/800-53 for classified hardware
• Familiarity with ICD 705 physical security standards for SCIF/SAP hardware

Responsibilities

• Procure, configure, image, and deploy desktops, laptops, servers, and peripherals
• Perform hardware installation, upgrades, break/fix, and preventive maintenance
• Maintain accurate hardware inventory, asset tags, and lifecycle documentation
• Support rack/stack, cabling, and physical installation in data centers and SAP facilities
• Diagnose hardware incidents and escalate as needed
• Coordinate with FSOs to ensure compliant handling, transport, and disposal
• Support cross-domain solutions hardware for security requirements
• Assist with VTC endpoint setup across sites and multi-tier AV configurations
• Support RMF/NIST/ITSM integration and documentation
