The Department of Innovation & Technology (DoIT) in Illinois is hiring a Director of IT Governance to lead enterprise-wide governance, ensure adherence to policies, and coordinate initiatives across agencies. This role also serves as a full-line supervisor engaging senior leadership.

Qualified candidates will have MIS/Data Processing education and governance experience, with strong communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Four years of college with MIS/Data Processing coursework.
• Four years of administrative experience in MIS or related fields.
• Three years of governance/platform experience (e.g., ServiceNow APM, TRM).

Responsibilities

• Oversee IT governance for DoIT and ensure policy adherence.
• Direct governance for agency IT initiatives and projects.
• Develop metrics and report to senior leadership.
• Serve as supervisor and participate in top management meetings.
