Job summary

The Department of Innovation & Technology (DoIT) in Illinois seeks a Director of IT Governance to lead enterprise-wide governance, policy enforcement, and performance improvement initiatives. You will coordinate governance for initiatives across agencies and present updates to senior leaders.

As a full-line supervisor, you will work with DoIT leadership and ACFR audit teams, driving adherence to governance standards and continuous improvement across IT services for State agencies and commissions.

Qualifications

• Requires four (4) years of college with course work in Management Information Systems, Data Processing or related field.
• Requires four (4) years of progressively responsible administrative experience in MIS, Data Processing or related fields.
• Three (3) years of experience administering or managing enterprise governance platforms or architecture tools such as ServiceNow APM or TRM.

Responsibilities

• Directs IT Governance for the Department of Innovation and Technology across enterprise initiatives.
• Ensures governance policies and processes are followed for agency IT projects.
• Supervises staff and reports to senior leadership; interacts with ACFR audit teams.
