Job summary

NexTech Solutions is seeking an IT Governance and Disaster Recovery Analyst to support governance initiatives and disaster recovery planning. The role focuses on governance with hands-on tabletop exercises and collaboration with software owners.

You will help design scenarios, translate audit findings into remediation plans, and ensure documentation is AI-ready for a self-service knowledge base. The schedule is typically Monday–Friday, onsite in Memphis.

Responsibilities

• Execute governance and IT risk management activities and explain their intent and objectives.
• Translate assigned audit findings into actionable remediation plans, coordinate accountable stakeholders, and track timely resolution through closure.
• Collaborate with product teams on disaster recovery plans for SaaS and on-premises products.
• Plan scenarios and facilitate tabletop exercises using authentic situations and established processes.
• Review governance practices, collaborate on recommendations, and identify end-to-end process improvements.
• Integrate program enhancements into ongoing team processes.
• Create and maintain AI-ready documentation and use AI to support clear, self-service knowledge.
• Software owners create and maintain their own disaster plans; the analyst helps teams participate in the recovery program and facilitates tabletop exercises.

Job Title: IT Governance and Disaster Recovery Analyst

Location: Memphis, TN (Onsite)

Overview

Support IT governance and disaster recovery through audit remediation, process improvement, cross-team coordination, and usable documentation. This role focuses primarily on governance, with disaster recovery responsibilities that include tabletop exercises and collaboration with software owners. The schedule is MondayFriday, 9:00 a.m.5:00 p.m.

• Broad understanding of COBIT processes.
• Bachelors degree in IT or a related field.
