Job summary

Old World Industries is seeking an IT Finance Analyst to enable IT business operations through financial tracking, budget administration and project coordination. The role provides entry‑level SAP support for R2R processes and serves as a bridge between Finance and IT.

The position emphasizes development in IT financial management, SAP finance, and project coordination within a dynamic Northbrook, IL team. On-site with hybrid work options and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in accounting, finance, information systems or related field. A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in financial tracking, accounting support, IT operations or project coordination.
• Working knowledge of basic accounting concepts: GL, cost centers, accruals, capital vs. expense.
• Strong Excel skills: lookups, pivot tables, reconciliations.
• Exposure to SAP or another ERP is preferred. Power BI and Smartsheet or MS Project are a plus.
• Clear written and verbal communication with people at all levels.

Responsibilities

• IT budget and financial tracking: track spend, commitments and forecast; produce monthly variance report.
• Prepare and track IT purchase orders; ensure cost centers and GL accounts are correct.
• Process and code vendor invoices, reconcile POs, and coordinate monthly IT accruals.
• Track capital project spend by internal order in SAP: budget, actual, committed.
• Support the annual IT budget and planning cycle with data gathering and schedules.
• Keep IT vendor and contractor register current: headcount, rates, SoW and PO coverage.
• Audit contractor timesheets and invoices; flag overruns early.
• Coordinate vendor master data requests and keep SoW/contract records current.
