Job summary

Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) IT department seeks an Investments & Planning, Tech & Engineer Fellow as an on-site internship in New York. The fellow supports the core team by producing daily, monthly, and quarterly financial reports across IT divisions, handling monthly accounting entries and the chargeback process.

The position starts in Spring 2027 and requires a minimum 12-month commitment.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Downloading daily transactions.
• Mapping transactions to budget lines.
• Prepare/submit monthly accruals.
• Prepare/submit monthly prepaids.
• Chargeback costs to Agencies.
• Validate receipt of reimbursement.
• Update chargeback database.
• Assist with labor cost analysis.
