Job summary

WSP USA seeks an IT Finance Analyst to bridge finance with IT operations, driving strategic financial guidance and discipline across the US IT Business Line. You will support budgeting, forecasting, and governance, delivering actionable insights to leadership for value realization.

You will collaborate with IT leadership to optimize investments, manage costs, and monitor performance, ensuring robust financial control and stakeholder alignment across technology portfolios.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline; professional designation (CPA/CMA/CFA) is a plus.
• 7–10 years of progressive finance experience including at least 3 years in a business partnering, FP&A, or financial management role.
• Strong understanding of financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, P&L management, and technology cost structures.
• Experience supporting IT organizations, technology portfolios, software licensing, cloud consumption, and capital investment planning is highly desirable.
• Able to translate complex financial and operational data into clear, actionable insights and executive-level recommendations.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders in a matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

• Month-End Close & Financial Reporting: lead close activities, including accruals, journal entries, reconciliations, and project reporting.
• Financial Reconciliations & Cost Allocations: manage reconciliations and allocate costs across platforms and services.
• Vendor, Telecom & Procurement Financial Management: oversee vendor financials, invoices, POs, and budget validation.
• Global Portfolio & Consumption Management: provide governance and monthly consumption analysis, KPI monitoring, and forecasting support.
• Financial Controls & Continuous Improvement: maintain controls, support audits, and enhance reporting processes.
