Job summary

SCD Information Technology, LLC. is seeking Full-time IT Field Technician II and III (Uncleared) to provide on-site support between DC and Northern Virginia. Travel, hands-on hardware/software maintenance, and diagnosing network issues are core parts of the role.

The position requires 3+ years of IT experience, ability to travel, and a U.S. citizenship. Mileage reimbursement is provided and salary ranges from $40k to $60k depending on experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of working professional IT experience.
• Reliable Transportation.
• Willing and able to travel to sites in MD, DC, northern VA, and southern PA.
• Experience with desktop operating systems including Windows 10 and Mac OS X
• Experience with Microsoft Office.
• Hands-on experience with analyzing network data to determine network usage, disk space availability, or server function, or connectivity issues.
• Experience identifying the causes of networking, software, and hardware problems, using diagnostic testing software and equipment.
• Experience installing printers, scanners, and desktop phones.

• Assist senior technicians with desktop and network equipment deployments.
• Ensure proper computer operations so that end users can accomplish organizational tasks.
• Resolve technical issues with the use of diagnostics.
• Provide hands-on help at the appropriate level to customers.
• Be Required to attain CompTIA A+ Certification within 6 months of hire.

IT Field Technician II & III (Uncleared)

SCD Information Technology is currently seeking a Full- time IT Field Support Technician II and III.

Hours: Mon-Fri 8:30 am - 5:00 pm Reports to Commercial Services Director

The IT Field Technician will use his/her vehicle to provide on-site IT consulting and support services.

Client locations: Daily travel sites between DC and Northern Virginia.

Mileage will be reimbursed at the current IRS rate.

Salary Range: $40-$60K
