Select Water Solutions is seeking an IT Field Technician to provide first-level troubleshooting and basic tech support for end-users across the Permian region. You will assist with computers, mobile devices, printers, network gear, and camera installations, with a preference for Spanish language fluency.

The role requires covering IT responsibilities for Southern New Mexico and occasional West Texas, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires an associate's degree or relevant on-the-job experience.
• 2–4 years of related work experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
• Scissor and Boom lift certification preferred (learnable on the job).
• Customer service: interact with users professionally.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level troubleshooting and basic technical support to end-users.
• Assist users with hardware and software issues.
• Maintain IT network closets and storage rooms.
• Install and uninstall equipment on-site and in the field.
• Escalate or source solutions when needed.
• Travel within the Permian region (Southern NM; occasional West Texas).

Job Description

Select Water Solutions IT Field Technician provides first-level troubleshooting and basic technical support to end-users. Assisting with computers, mobile devices, printers, network related equipment, and camera installs and set up. This position will preferably be fluent in the Spanish language.

The essential job functions include, but are not limited to

• Responsible for covering IT responsibilities for the Permian region (Mainly Southern New Mexico, but also West Texas when needed).


• Assist users with all hardware and software issues.


• Maintains IT Network closets and storage rooms.


• Install and also unninstall equipment, on site and in field.


• When a solution isnt readily available, will need to escape or group source a solution.


• Must have a valid driver’s license and be eligible to drive a company vehicle in accordance with Select’s policies.

Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.
