Job summary

CoxHealth is seeking an IT Field Support Technician to provide on-site technical support for end-user hardware and software across the CoxHealth network in Springfield, MO. You will handle desktop, laptop, telephony, and basic networking issues, document resolutions, and work with minimal supervision.

Preferred qualifications include an associate degree in healthcare IT or related field and 1–3 years IT experience in healthcare.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years healthcare or IT-related work experience.
• Preferred: Associate degree in healthcare information technology, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Knowledge of computer hardware and TCP/IP networking.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine, technical support for desktop, laptop, telephony, and network systems onsite.
• Troubleshoot issues and document resolutions with support as needed.
• Participate in knowledge-transfer forums to identify and resolve problems; coordinate installations, upgrades, software and hardware, and OS configurations.
• Repair or replace defective equipment with support as needed.
