Job summary

Agile Robots is seeking an IT & Facilities Technician to be the on-site backbone across our Palo Alto and Petaluma offices. You will image laptops, install devices, and maintain robot demo cells while coordinating with our Munich IT team.

The role requires hands-on support, asset management, and routine preventive maintenance of robots and office tech. Travel between US sites is expected, with a strong customer-service focus and independent work style.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on Windows 11 support
• 3+ years basic networking (VLANs, Wi‑Fi, switches)
• Experience imaging laptops and configuring peripherals
• Practical experience with robots or industrial equipment is a plus
• Strong organization and ticket/inventory management skills
• Excellent English communication and willingness to travel between US sites

Responsibilities

• Onboard/offboard users; manage accounts and devices
• Manage Windows/MacOS devices and software deployment
• Provide 1st/2nd level IT support; resolve issues end to end
• Set up, configure and test robot systems and demo cells
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and coordinate with Munich
• Track devices, spares and supplies; maintain inventory records
• Set up meeting rooms, AV gear, cabling and workspace improvements
• Coordinate multi-site IT/Facilities support and travel as needed
• Receive and inspect hardware for demos and customer sites
• Collaborate with IT in Munich on infrastructure and security topics
