  • Resolute Professional Billing Admin experience required
  • Resolute Professional Billing Claims experience required
  • Cogito Certification experience preferred
  • Charging experience preferred
Job Summary

Expertise in one or more highly specialized areas within the healthcare environment. Responsible for developing clinical/business solutions, designing and presenting options to improve patient care, engagement, operational efficiency, and financial position. Integrates organizational knowledge with thoughtful design.

Reviews and analyzes systems, including testing and documenting Epic applications. Fully understands system options and configurations, and can lead teams in decision-making regarding system setup.

Job Responsibilities
  • Design, build, test, implement, and support IT solutions to meet operational and clinical needs.
  • Provide consultation for program design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation.
  • Understand system options and configurations, and lead teams in decision-making on system utilization.
  • Analyze and recommend improvements for existing systems, providing detailed reports.
  • Create comprehensive system design and build documentation.
  • Collaborate with analysts, staff, vendors, and leadership.
  • Translate high-level business requirements into detailed technical designs and documentation.
  • Lead large or complex projects or initiatives.
  • Support and maintain existing functionalities and applications, including ancillary systems.
  • Coordinate all phases of system optimization or upgrades, and provide production support.
  • Serve as a resource and advocate for user groups, assisting with projects and staff training.
  • Perform advanced system analysis and troubleshooting to implement new functionalities and research vendor updates.
  • Identify and manage new system specifications and user services, coordinating installations.
  • Assess user areas for efficiency, evaluate solutions, and provide system support.
  • Prepare policies, procedures, manuals, and system documentation.
  • Maintain project documentation and meet regularly with department heads to prioritize needs.
  • Work closely with customers to document requirements and communicate effectively.
  • Facilitate performance improvements and support clinical and financial operations.
  • Participate in on-call coverage as needed and some travel may be required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 4 years of equivalent experience.
  • Resolute Professional Billing Admin and Claims experience required.
  • Cogito Certification and EPIC certification required or to be obtained within 4 months.
  • Ongoing maintenance of Epic certifications.
  • Proven innovative Epic solutions experience.
  • 3+ years in systems analysis, programming, or design.
  • 5+ years in application support, implementation, or development in healthcare.
  • Expertise in all phases of applications, systems analysis, and programming.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Deep understanding of healthcare operations.
