Verkada Inc. seeks an IT professional to join our San Mateo office, delivering end-user support and collaborating with the HQ IT team to uphold top-trim IT standards company-wide.

You’ll handle hardware, software, networking, and AV issues, administer Google Workspace and SSO tools, and work with a global staff. This on-site role requires robust customer service, clear communication, and a proactive problem-solving mindset in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Prior IT/helpdesk/customer service experience.
• A 5‑star customer service mindset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with macOS, Windows, Linux, iOS, and Android devices.
• Ability to administer Google Workspace (G‑Suite).
• Experience working with SSO platforms (Okta, OneLogin, etc.).
• Capability to manage AV hardware and software, including Zoom and other video conferencing tools.

About The Role

We are seeking a dedicated IT professional to join our San Mateo team. The ideal candidate will provide technical and operational support to employees in the San Mateo office while working with our HQ IT team to maintain high standards across the company. This role requires strong technical skills, a customer‑centric approach and the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment solving both technical and operational challenges.

The IT team is dedicated to delivering excellent customer service and helping our company grow. Our goal is to make work easier and more efficient for everyone by fixing problems, improving processes, and supporting the business with all its IT needs.

We are committed to a thriving in‑office culture. This role requires that you be on‑site at our HQ in San Mateo, CA 5 days a week.

Annual Pay Range

At Verkada, we want to attract and retain the best employees, and compensate them in a way that appropriately and fairly values their individual contribution to the company. With that in mind, we carefully consider a number of factors to determine the appropriate starting pay for an employee, including their primary work location and an assessment of a candidate's skills and experience, as well as market demands and internal parity. A Verkada employee may be eligible for additional forms of compensation, depending on their role, including sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and/or equity in the company in the form of restricted stock units (RSUs)

Below is the annual on‑target earnings (OTE) range for full‑time employees for this position, comprised of base compensation and commissions (if applicable).
