We are looking for a IT Systems Engineer, SaaS & AI Platforms based in Latin Americato work on a long-term project for one of our clients, a software development companybased in Norwalk, Connecticut.Our client is a leading technology company providing equipment lifecycle management,service, and procurement solutions for the global construction and heavy equipmentindustry. Their platform connects fleet owners, manufacturers, and distributors to improveequipment uptime, streamline parts procurement, and reduce the total cost of equipmentownership.
Responsibilities
- Administer the identity chain spanning Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and Google Workspace, including SSO federation, MFA, conditional access, and groupbased access control.
- Own the joiner/mover/leaver lifecycle across all SaaS applications, using SCIM and SSO integrations to automate provisioning and deprovisioning wherever possible.
- Run periodic access reviews and maintain least-privilege role assignments across systems
- Administer, configure, and troubleshoot Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Meet, Chat, Admin Console) and Microsoft 365 (Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint/OneDrive, Intune as applicable).
- Manage users, groups, organizational units, and licensing across tenants.
- Maintain email security and deliverability (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) and configure DLP, sharing, and retention policies.
- Administer common business SaaS applications (e.g., Slack, Zoom, password management, e-signature, HR and finance systems), including onboarding new tools through security and vendor review.
- Track SaaS inventory, license utilization, and renewals to control spend and reduce shadow IT.
- Administer enterprise AI platforms such as Claude (Team/Enterprise), Gemini Enterprise, and Microsoft Copilot: workspace setup, seat management, SSO/SCIM, admin policies, data retention, and usage reporting.
- Configure and govern AI integrations and connectors (e.g., MCP servers, Workspace and M365 connectors), ensuring data access aligns with security and compliance requirements.
- Help define and enforce acceptable-use policies for AI tools, and evaluate new AI tools as they are requested.
- Support employees in adopting AI tools effectively: documentation, enablement sessions, and collecting feedback to refine configurations as business needs evolve.
- Assist in configuring, deploying, and maintaining AI agents and automations already in use.
- Administer the platform engineering team's toolchain, including GitHub (organization settings, teams, repository permissions, branch protections, apps), Linear, and AI coding tools such as Claude Code.
- Manage developer tool licensing, SSO/SCIM integration, and access policies in partnership with engineering leadership.
- Support developer onboarding and offboarding so engineers are productive on day one and access is fully revoked on exit.
- Monitor system health, audit logs, and usage reports across platforms to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities affecting SaaS and connected systems.
- Automate repetitive administrative work using scripting (PowerShell, Python, Google Apps Script, GAM) and platform APIs.
- Maintain clear runbooks and documentation for all administered systems.
- Ensure compliance with organizational and industry security best practices.
Requirements
- Advanced Level of English.
- 3+ years administering SaaS platforms in a corporate IT environment, including hands-on experience with both Google Workspace and Microsoft 365/Entra ID.
- Strong understanding of identity and access management: SSO (SAML/OIDC), SCIM, MFA, conditional access, and hybrid Active Directory environments.
- Experience administering enterprise AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT Enterprise, Claude, Gemini, Copilot) or a demonstrated, hands-on interest in AI tooling.
- Working knowledge of IT security concepts: MFA, SSO, TLS, encryption, and DLP.
- Experience with email configuration, troubleshooting, and security (SPF, DKIM, DMARC).
- Scripting ability in at least one of PowerShell, Python, or Bash, and comfort working with REST APIs.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across systems and applications.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Bonus Points
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering or related fields.
- Experience administering GitHub organizations and other developer tooling.
- Familiarity with cloud environments (GCP and/or AWS).
- Experience with the Model Context Protocol (MCP) or configuring AI agent integrations.
- Certifications such as Google Workspace Administrator, Microsoft 365 Administrator (MS-102), or Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator (SC-300)
