Job summary

Oscar Health is seeking an IT Engineer I to join the IT Engineering team in New York. You will support enterprise apps and drive automation to tackle business challenges, while managing user devices and supporting operating systems and software.

You will handle SSO with Okta, support Jamf-managed Macs, document supported apps, manage user identities, and build automated onboarding/offboarding workflows. The role requires cloud-first IT experience and on-call participation.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a high-growth SaaS environment.
• 1+ years of using Jamf to manage macOS.
• Proficiency in Okta identity and access management.
• 2+ years IT experience with user support in a cloud-first environment.

Responsibilities

• Support enterprise applications and provide automation-based solutions.
• Manage user devices and support operating systems and enterprise software.
• Handle SSO for new applications with Okta and troubleshoot issues.
• Support the Mac OS fleet using Jamf, ensuring performance and security.
• Develop and maintain documentation for supported applications.
• Oversee lifecycle of user identities: provisioning and deprovisioning.
• Implement automated workflows for onboarding and offboarding.
• Build policies and scripts using vendor APIs for Google Workspace, Slack, Zendesk.
• Provide operational support including account management, log analysis, troubleshooting, and performance improvement.
• Participate in on-call schedule per monitoring/escalation protocols.
• Ensure systems comply with SOPs and guidelines.
• Establish, configure, test, and maintain OS and SaaS applications.

• As a key member of the IT Engineering team, you will be responsible for supporting enterprise applications and providing innovative solutions to business challenges through automation
• As an IT Engineer l you will be involved in managing user devices, analyzing, installing, modifying, and supporting operating systems and enterprise software. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless integration and operation of IT systems within the organization
• Handle Single Sign-On (SSO) of new applications with Okta and troubleshoot related issues
• Support the Mac OS fleet using Jamf, ensuring optimal performance and security
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for supported applications
• Oversee the complete lifecycle of user identities, including provisioning and deprovisioning
• Implement and maintain automated workflows for user onboarding and offboarding
• Build policies and scripts using vendor APIs for SaaS services such as Google Workspace, Slack, and Zendesk
• Provide operational support, including account management, workflow optimization, log analysis, troubleshooting, and performance enhancement
• Participate in an on-call schedule to provide emergency services and respond to issues as per monitoring and escalation protocols
• Ensure computer systems comply with organizational guidelines and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
