Peraton is seeking an IT Engineer to help maintain development infrastructure supporting TT&C and Satellite Mission Management software. The role focuses on installing, configuring, and supporting IT infrastructures, ensuring secure and efficient operation of hardware, software, and networks.

The ideal candidate will have IT support or system/networks experience, Linux proficiency, and cybersecurity knowledge, with US citizenship and the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Qualifications

• BS/BA required with 2 years experience; MS/MA requires 0 years; 6 years with no degree.
• Additional 4 years of IT experience can substitute for a degree.
• Experience in IT support, system/network administration or similar role.
• Experience with using the Linux operating system.
• Knowledge of CyberSecurity practices.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly.
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust Sec Clearance – U.S. citizenship is required.

Peraton is seeking an IT Engineer to assist with maintaining our development infrastructure. Our organization develops TT&C and Satellite Mission Management and Scheduling software in support of our mission critical customers and the OS/COMET COTS software product.

Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, and supporting various IT infrastructures and tools, ensuring that all technology works efficiently, securely, and is properly maintained. The candidate needs to have a solid technical background and the ability to manage complex IT systems, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth operation of all hardware, software, and network systems.

Target Salary Range

$66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
