Job summary

College of Business Administration seeks an IT Director to develop and direct strategic IT plans and lead the college’s technical systems, data systems, and departmental applications. The role may mentor IT staff, and align security posture with state, university, and college IT policies.

The IT Director reports to the AVP for Academic IT and Research with a dotted line to the Dean, overseeing on-site IT operations to support college objectives in a collaborative, results-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma and 10 years of relevant experience.
• Master’s degree in computer science, information technology or related field.
• Experience in technology troubleshooting, assisting, and training.

Responsibilities

• Develop and direct strategic IT plans for the college.
• Lead college technical systems, data systems and departmental apps.
• Manage IT staff resources, including full-time IT staff or technicians and part-time hourly/graduate student resources.
• Ensure operations and security posture align with IT policies, procedures and standards.
• Provide IT leadership and oversight to support college strategic plans.
