Job summary

CT State Community College seeks a Campus Director of Information Technology to lead technology services on a CT State campus. You will supervise technical staff, manage enterprise IT solutions, and align operations with campus goals under the AVP of Technology Operations.

The role emphasizes collaboration with academic and administrative leaders, budgeting, disaster recovery planning, and service delivery across enterprise systems on-site at CT State Quinebaug Valley campus.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead a management team, interact with technical staff, customers, auditors, and stakeholders at all levels.
• Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills; translate technical concepts for technical and nontechnical audiences.
• Experience managing, evaluating, training, sourcing and disciplining technical staff.
• Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) and related practices.
• Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including those with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise campus IT staff to deliver enterprise shared technology services and administrative/academic technology on campus.
• Coordinate service goals with ETMs/ATMs, CT State offices, and campus leaders to meet campus needs and reporting requirements.
• Oversee budget management for campus technology, disaster recovery plans, and long-term forecasting of technology service requirements.
• Collaborate with regional IT teams, vendors, and CSCU technicians to implement technology solutions for teaching, learning, and campus operations.
• Ensure timely resolution of employee problems through the CSCU service desk and maintain documentation of IT processes.
