Job summary

Horizon Infusions, a growing multi-state infusion services organization, seeks a hands-on Director of Information Technology to balance daily IT operations with strategic planning, data strategy, and cybersecurity oversight.

The role leads help desk, builds a high-performing IT team, drives data engineering, BI, and integrations, while overseeing cloud infrastructure, security, and HIPAA compliance across remote sites.

Qualifications

• Progressive IT leadership experience in healthcare or another regulated industry.
• Experience managing help desk operations, end-user support teams, and third-party vendors.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, cloud technologies, networking, identity management, and endpoint management.
• Experience with data engineering, reporting, business intelligence, and system integrations.
• Working knowledge of cybersecurity, disaster recovery, and information security best practices.
• Familiarity with HIPAA and healthcare technology environments.
• Strong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience supporting multi-site or geographically dispersed organizations.

Responsibilities

• Lead Horizon's IT function, including help desk operations and end-user support
• Build and develop a high-performing internal IT team
• Drive data engineering, reporting, business intelligence, and system integration initiatives
• Oversee technology infrastructure, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, and vendor relationships
• Support HIPAA compliance, data security, and business continuity planning
• Partner with operational and clinical leaders to improve reporting, analytics, and decision-making
• Ensure consistent technology support across remote employees and multiple infusion center locations
