Gilder Search Group is seeking an entry-level Configuration Technician in Erie to assist with pre-configuring IT equipment prior to shipment. You will follow documented instructions to provision devices, perform basic kitting, and ensure quality before packing for delivery.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; 1 year of experience preferred or related training.
• Employee may pursue MCPc or equivalent certifications within first year.
• Hands-on, entry-level role supporting IT configuration and pre-shipment activities.

Responsibilities

• Follow written work instructions to provision and configure IT devices per customer requirements.
• Perform basic kitting and prepare equipment for deployment and shipping.
• Unbox, re-box and process equipment for shipping.
• Clean, test, and inspect IT devices prior to shipment.
• Escalate technical or other issues to supervisor as needed.
• Attend internal departmental and project meetings and contribute ideas for process improvements.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
